Venture Ship Management Europe delivered the Panama-flagged World Legacy on 20 December 2025, completing a complex conversion project that moved well beyond conventional ship management. The programme began in April 2025 and finished on schedule, transforming the former Moby Zazà into a cruise and casino passenger vessel.
The scope covered the full redevelopment of the ship, including vessel inspections, feasibility studies, Approval in Principle, class and flag approvals, safety and renewal surveys, and extensive interior refitting across several decks. The project team managed a phased execution plan, with early repairs and preparatory works carried out in Malaysia before the vessel moved to Singapore for final conversion and completion at Admiralty Yard, part of Seatrium.
Engineers and contractors coordinated closely to deliver technical upgrades alongside major hotel and public-space renovations, enabling the ship to meet regulatory, safety and operational requirements for her new role. World Legacy is marking the first milestone in a wider vessel transformation programme for the owner.
Venture Ship Management Europe said the result reflected the collective commitment of its full team and the strong cooperation of the owner, class society, flag administration, main contractors and the shipyard. The delivery underlines the company’s capability in managing complex, multi-location conversion projects within demanding timelines.
