Johnson Controls International has entered into a global agreement with Viking Life-Saving Equipment to provide servicing for its marine firefighting systems, appointing Viking as the approved worldwide partner for all equipment delivered by Johnson Controls’ Marine and Navy division.

Johnson Controls supplies CO2, foam, dry-powder, water-mist, sprinkler and gas-based firefighting systems to the maritime and offshore sector. Under the agreement, Viking will take responsibility for servicing and maintenance across this product range and will hold global stocks of spare parts to support customers.

Viking manufactures and services marine safety equipment and will now provide certified service support for Johnson Controls’ installed base of systems worldwide. The companies said the partnership is designed to offer shipowners a single point of contact for service across multiple firefighting technologies, with globally trained personnel and coordinated logistics.

The agreement formalises a strategic collaboration between two established safety suppliers, aiming to improve service efficiency for fleet operators and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance of fire safety equipment.
