Vallianz has launched a new 110-metre floating dock at its Labroy yard (ID), expanding repair and maintenance capacity for offshore and coastal vessels ahead of planned operations starting on June 15th, 2026.
The new facility, named Vision Dock 1, is designed to accommodate vessels up to 6,200dwt, including tugboats, offshore support vessels and coastal ships. Vallianz said the dock would support repair, maintenance and light newbuilding activities as part of a broader expansion of yard capability.
The company said the launch marked an important operational milestone and reflected the planning and coordination involved throughout the project. Vision Dock 1 is expected to strengthen service capacity through increased operational flexibility and improved turnaround capability for regional vessel operators.
Vallianz said the floating dock would become part of its existing Labroy yard infrastructure and support a wider range of marine engineering work. The company added that the facility would enhance support for offshore and harbour vessel segments operating in regional waters.
The 110-metre dock is scheduled to enter service in mid-June 2026 following final commissioning and operational preparations. Vallianz said the expansion formed part of ongoing efforts to strengthen marine support capability and increase service availability for shiprepair and maintenance customers.
