Seatrium has secured a long-term agreement with Royal Caribbean Group covering cruise vessel repair, maintenance and upgrade work at its Singapore facilities.
The deal extends a partnership established in 2012 and is expected to bring a steady flow of vessels from across the group’s brands, including Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises and Silversea Cruises, for statutory inspections, repairs and upgrades.
Work under the agreement has already begun. The Malta-flagged Celebrity Solstice completed revitalisation works at the Tuas Boulevard Yard on February 28, 2026. The Bahamas-flagged Ovation of the Seas is scheduled to begin enhancement work in March, while the Bahamas-flagged Silver Cloud is due to enter drydock later in the year.
Seatrium said the agreement reflects continued confidence in its ability to execute complex cruise ship projects and highlighted the capabilities of its Tuas Boulevard Yard, which supports large-scale and fast-turnaround projects through integrated digital workflows.
Royal Caribbean Group said Seatrium has demonstrated the engineering capability and operational discipline required for complex cruise ship drydocking, upgrade and retrofit projects, adding that both parties expect continued collaboration on safe and timely project delivery.
