Roxtec Middle East FZE, the Dubai-based regional arm of Swedish cable and pipe seal manufacturer Roxtec, has marked its 25th anniversary in the UAE with record sales of USD 15 million over the past year, double its 2022 turnover. The company, headquartered in Jebel Ali Freezone, now employs 35 staff across the MENA region, having started with two employees in 2000.
Managing director Firas Kafafi said growth has been driven by expanding demand in clean energy, data centres and traditional industries such as oil and gas, shipbuilding and repair. Roxtec is currently supplying major projects for companies including Adnoc, Aramco and QatarEnergy, among them Project Lightning, the Gulf’s first subsea power cable link. “Roxtec’s seals are respected worldwide as being meticulously tested and proven in multiple industries,” said Kafafi. “It is brilliant to see our footprint grow in the MENA region over the last 25 years.”
The company plans to open an Abu Dhabi office next year and expand its distributor network across the region, including Iraq, Jordan and North Africa. Roxtec has also introduced two new products: the Roxtec FlamePlus sealing system for modular buildings and the Roxtec Software Suite, a digital lifecycle management platform.
