Robin Hood departs BLRT Klaipeda after maintenance docking

Thorough repainting, inspection and maintenance by BLRT Repair Yards (Source: BLRT)

The Germany-flagged ferry Robin Hood, operated by TT-Line, has left BLRT Repair Yards in Klaipeda following scheduled maintenance focused on safety and operational reliability.
During the docking, the yard carried out underwater hull painting using XGIT-Fuel 3.0 coating with full sheltering to control temperature and humidity. The work aims to improve long-term efficiency and reduce resistance through the water. Above the waterline, Deck 1 underwent grit blasting and repainting with a PPG coating system with anti-skid aggregate.
The shiprepair scope also included maintenance and adjustment of ramps, minor steel repairs, cleaning and painting of topside and superstructure areas, piping works, servicing of rudders, propellers and bow thruster, inspection of tanks, maintenance of overboard valves and strainers, and cleaning of heat exchangers.
Engineers also inspected anchor chains, winches and stabilisers to confirm compliance with class and safety requirements. The work programme focused on restoring mechanical readiness while ensuring durability for continued service on Baltic routes.
With systems serviced and verified, Robin Hood has now returned to operation following the maintenance pause. The yard said the project supports efficient and compliant service for the vessel’s next operating cycle.
