Kaiko Systems has launched Shore Reports, a new digital inspection tool designed for vessel superintendents and shore managers. The platform replaces manual workflows with a mobile app and dashboard that deliver structured inspection data in real time.
Shore-based inspections remain a manual process at most companies, involving handwritten notes, photos, spreadsheets and Word files. Kaiko Systems said these methods are slow, inconsistent and require hours of reformatting after visits. Shore Reports allows inspectors to collect information on site with or without connectivity. Data is compiled automatically and delivered as a professional PDF report via the dashboard.
“Shore team inspections have been overlooked for too long within the digital services sector,” said Fabian Fussek, CEO of Kaiko Systems. “We worked closely with superintendents to design Shore Reports around how inspections are conducted and how a digital product can make the job easier.
“This is not about re-inventing workflows, but about giving teams a tool that fits the job they are doing and helps them work faster, smarter, and with better visibility.”
The tool supports superintendent visits, dry dock inspections, internal ISM and environmental audits, and cargo or navigation reviews. Forms can be adapted for different vessel types or company protocols.
Shore Reports can also connect directly into maintenance and procurement systems using Kaiko’s API. This integration enables faster follow-up on critical issues. Kaiko said the platform helps teams work faster and smarter while improving safety oversight.
