Former cruise ship Costa Magica returns from refit in Turkey as Goddess of the Night

The new Greek cruise ship Goddess of the Night has completed its upgrade project at Turkish repair yard ICDAS (Source: Seajets)

The former Costa Cruises-owned cruise vessel Costa Magica has completed a major upgrade project in Turkey and is to return to service on July 15th under its new name of Goddess of the Night for its new Greek owners Seajets.

The upgrade of the 103,000gt 2004-built vessel was carried out by the ICDAS shipyard.

However, before Goddess of the Night enters service with new Greek cruise line Neo Cruises, the vessel will be used as an accommodation vessel for the Italian police providing the security at the G7 Summit which started in Brindisi on June 9th.
