Damen Shiprepair’s yards in the Netherlands, France and the Caribbean have been busy over the past week, working on a wide variety of ship types.
On June 18, the Amsterdam yard was repairing the following vessels:
- Seafox 7 – 3,776gt 2008-built jack-up rig, owned by Holland’s Seafox Offshore, Ijmuiden
- Willem Van der Zwan – 9,494gt 2000-built trawler, owned by Holland’s Willem Van Der Zwan & Znov
- Seacor Demerara – 4,527dwt 2020-built PSV, owned by US operator Seacor Marine, Houston, TX
- Carlo Martello – 1,918dwt 2009-built tug, owned by Italy’s Augustea spA, Augusta
- Nexus – 9,675gt 2014-built offshore cable layer, owned by Holland’s Van Oord
Vessels undergoing repair at the Botlek yard in Rotterdam:
- K10031 – 7,599gt 2007-built offshore accommodation vessel, owned by Holland’s Koole Contractors, Vijthizen
- Saipem 7000 – 117,812gt 1987-built semi-submersible pipelay/crane vessel, owned by Italy’s Saipem, Milan
Vessels undergoing repair at the Brest yard:
- Palu LNG – 159,800m3 capacity 2014-built LNG tanker, managed by Greece’s TMS Tankers, Athens
- Orasund – 4,975dwt 2008-built chemical tanker, owned by Denmark’s Simonsen Rederiet, Svendborg
Vessels undergoing repair at the Dunkirk yard:
- Pacifico – 22,554dwt 2022-built chemical tanker, owned by Sweden’s Donsötank, Donsö
Vessels undergoing repair at the Willemstad yard in Curaçao:
- Veronica PG – 10,632dwt 2004-built chemical tanker, owned by the UK’s Pritchard Gordon Tankers, Haywards Heath
- BG Fenix – 18,555gt built 1967 offshore crane barge, owned by US-based Global Industries, Houston TX and managed by Mexico’s Central de Descarollas Marinos, Santa Catarina
- K9127 – 91m offshore flat-top barge, owned by Holland’s Koole Contractors, Vijthizen
- Nasca l – 45,750dwt 1997-built chemical tanker, owned by US-based Transgas International, Coral Springs, FL
