The Norway-flagged Aurora Coey has completed a maintenance project at BLRT Repair Yards in Klaipėda, marking the first collaboration between the yard and Aurora Offshore.
The LNG battery-hybrid platform supply vessel underwent a comprehensive scope of work, including hull and superstructure preparation and a full repaint involving a colour transition to red and white. High-elevation works were carried out on the upper structure using specialised access teams.
In parallel, the yard executed a technical package covering propulsion, mechanical and electrical systems, as well as safety valves, anchoring equipment, box cooler cleaning and steel works.
The project required coordination across a series of disciplines to ensure efficient execution within the drydocking period. BLRT said the work addressed key operational systems across the vessel while maintaining schedule requirements.
The yard described the project as a foundation for future cooperation, highlighting its capability to deliver integrated shiprepair services on modern offshore tonnage.
