Viking Neptun delivered

Viking Neptun will now start operating on a chart for Technip in the North Sea

Designed by Salt Ship Design, the vessel is 145m long, 31m wide and offers accommodation for 150 persons. The vessel is the largest in Eidesvik’s fleet, and the largest ever built by Kleven Verft.
Equipped with nine propellers – two main propellers from Wärtsila (twin-in and single-out gearbox) and seven Brunvoll thrusters – and eight engines from Wärtsilä, the Viking Neptun reaches a maximum speed of 17.2 knots.
With ICE 1B class, it is prepared for operations in the Arctic.  A helideck for efficient crew change and a 2,600m 2 deck area with a flexible layout for a wide range of operations complement the design.

Norway’s Kleven Verft has delivered the offshore construction vessel Viking Neptun to shipping company Eidesvik.
