Two tug newbuildings for Kotug

The two newbuildings “ZP Bulldog” and “ZP Boxer”

Each of the 24m-long and 12m-wide newbuildings has a bollard pull of 70 tonnes. A 3516 TA HD Caterpillar main engine with a capacity of nearly 4176 kW powers each tug for a speed of 12 knots. Both units will shortly enter service in the Port of Hamburg, Germany. The two GL-classed newbuildings were originally ordered by Elisabeth Ltd in Malta before being chartered by the Kotug Group.

The Netherlands-based Damen Shipyards Group, Gorinchem, has delivered two azimuth tractor drive 2412 tugs named “ZP Bulldog” and “ZP Boxer” to the international maritime service provider Kotug, Rotterdam.
