The hulls of the two new vessels will be built at Braila in Romania, and outfitted in Brevik in Norway. The PSV´s are of Rolls-Royce UT 776 CDG design, based in the series of six units for Island Offshore. Four of these vessels are already delivered. The new vessels will be approximately 96 m long, 20 m wide with a 4750 tdw.
The vessels are scheduled for delivery in Q2 and Q3 in 2012. The total value of the contracts amounts to approximately NOK 900 million. STX Norway Offshore has already awarded more than thirty new building contracts with Island Offshore.
