Tuco Marine signs deal with Copenhagen Fire Department

The 15m-long boat, capable of achieving speeds of 25 knots when fully loaded, is designed to carry first responder specialists and their equipment, as well as a helmsman and one crew member.
The hull has been specially designed for operation in shallow waters whilst, at the same time, providing good seakeeping characteristics, with limited rolling movement and good course stability. The boat has integrated propulsion systems and a deep V-hull making it highly agile and seaworthy. The specification includes high-tech communications, fire-fighting equipment and a crane system built into the boat’s structure for protection against adverse conditions. Space on deck can be configured for mission-specific payloads and/or seating for additional personnel.

Denmark’s Tuco Marine Group has won a contract from Hovedstadens Beredskab (the Greater Copenhagen Fire Department) to supply a lightweight multi-mission first responder vessel based on its ProZero concept.
