Triumph Subsea Services has signed a contract with Croatian shipbuilder Brodosplit for construction of one field development vessel of type FDV ST-269, designed by naval architects Skipsteknisk. The contract includes options for three additional units. The options will be executed upon the completion of the detailed engineering drawings and cutting of steel of the initial hull.

Expected steel cutting of the first vessel is scheduled to take place in March/April 2021. The initial ship, named FDV Chronos, is due to be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2023.

The vessels will be able to offer full-package solutions for almost all subsea construction tasks that can arise within the offshore oil and gas, decommissioning, subsea telecoms, and renewables markets. They will be built and outfitted entirely at DIV Shipbuilding Group’s owned Brodosplit facility in Split, Croatia.
