"Tide Navigator"
Damen Shipyards Bergum delivered the 118.14 m long and 15.9 m wide vessel from its outfitting location in the port of Harlingen. The maiden voyage brings the new built vessel from UK ports, via Antwerpen and Rotterdam to the US Eastcoast and Caribbean. Under her charter name "Onego St. Petersburg" the vessel left the port to be loaded with bulk products and also project cargo.
ForestWaveNavigation has the aim to enter with new vessels in the trade on a environmentally friendly and durable way. In close cooperation with Damen Shipyards the vessels succeeded to achieve this eco-way as close as possible. The "Tide Navigator" was classified by Lloyd's Register. The vessel is basically designed for the transport of bulk, steel coils, forest products and general cargo. there is also loading capacity for containers: totally 336 TEU, 171 TEU in hold and 165 on deck. Main engine is a Caterpillar engine of type MaK 9M25 C with an output of 2,970 kW at 750 rpm.
