Three new tugs in Le Havre

At the christening ceremony

"SD Seine", "SD Loire" and "SD Gironde" were built at the Eregli shipyard of Med Marine, located at the Black Sea, Turkey. The total fleet of SNRH now consists of six powerful tugs ready to assist the ever growing SNRH client portfolio in Le Havre.


The 32 meters long tugs with a bollard pull of appr. 60 tons are equipped with two Wärtsilä 9L20C3 engines driving two Schottel SRP 1215 propulsion units. The tugs are completely outfitted for assisting seagoing vessels in port, coastal and deep sea towage and providing of fire fighting capability for the protection of ship and port facilities.

SNRH (societe Nouvelle De Remorquage Du Havre), the French subsidiary of the fast growing European tugboat company Kotug, expanded its fleet by three new tugs. They were christened during a ceremony which took place in front of their office at Le Havre.
