Thrane & Thrane to acquire Naval Electronics AB

The acquisition means that Thrane & Thrane gains access to an exciting new product area, as Naval is a pioneer in the development and manufacture of professional equipment for TV reception and distribution onboard vessels.
The Naval product line includes newly developed tracking satellite antennas (TV-RO - TV Receive Only) for commercial vessels. Thrane & Thrane's existing portfolio, which does not currently include TV systems will be greatly enhanced by the addition of the Naval product line, which will continue to be sold through an already extensive distribution network in addition to Thrane & Thrane's own global distributor network, thereby generating opportunities for further growth.
