Sustainable technology specialist sets up maritime business unit

De Nora Water Technologies has established a new maritime division, De Nora Marine Technologies LLC, to drive expansion in the shipping sector and meet the exponentially growing demand for advanced water treatment technologies.

De Nora, best known in the marine market for its Balpure ballast water treatment systems (BWTS), declared its aim to develop more business in the shipping sphere, not only in BWTS, but also with “other soon-to-be-launched advanced water treatment technologies”.

General manager of De Nora Marine Technologies, Matt Granitto, commented: “While the initial development of our marine business benefited greatly from being part of a larger organisation, it has entered a significant growth phase and is able to stand on its own.
