"Siem Amethyst" delivered

Siem Offshore recently took delivery of its latest AHTS "Siem Amethyst" of type VS 491CD from Ulstein based Kleven Verft.
The 7,473 gt anchor handling tug classed by DNV has a length of 91 m and a breadth of 22 m. Main engines are two Wärtsilä 16V32 providing a speed of 18 kts. The bollard pull amounts to 297 t. Among the equipment installed are a 3 t@15 m deck crane, a 10 t@18 m ROV crane and a 42 t gantry crane.
