Seventh International Conference on Ship Efficiency

The German Society for Maritime Technology (Schiffbautechnische Gesellschaft – STG) has organised the seventh International Conference on Ship Efficiency, to be held in Hamburg on September 23rd and 24th 2019.

In order to take account of current developments, the global sulphur cap 2020 (day one) and the reduction of greenhouse gases (day two) will be a top priority on the agenda of the conference. Under the headlines “Available Fuels and Challenges in the new Sulphur-Age” and “Future Fuels in Shipping – Opportunities and Costs”, shipowners, ship managers, shipbuilders, equipment suppliers, classification societies, consultants, financial analysts and academics are invited to discuss holistic approaches for the entire ship system. The use of LNG and fuel cells will be among the subjects presented by experts.
