The vessel of type ST 324 XT from Skipsteknisk will be delivered from Myklebust Verft in March 2015. Contract value is about NOK 700 million. The contract also includes an option for a second vessel.
The advanced seismic vessel will meet ice class ICE 1A* requirements, providing a solid base for operations in arctic areas, the shipbuilder noted. The contract is subject to final board approval.
