Russian company AO Flot, based in Nizhny Novgorod, has an order from an undisclosed Estonian company for three more passenger hovercraft of type Mars-10. Last year AO Flot delivered two Mars-10 hovercraft to the Estonian seaport Munalaiu. The previously ordered hovercraft cost 125,000 euros each and are to be used to transport passengers between Munalaiu and islands Manilaid and Kihnu.

The 8m-long hovercraft will carry ten passengers and will develop a speed of between 60 kilometres to 110 kilometres per hour. AO Flot is also holding talks with an Indian company for a very large series of passenger hovercraft which initially involves two units and then 34 repeat units, said AO Flot.
