Retrofit works for Crystal Cruises vessel at Lloyd Werft

Retrofit for Crystal Serenity includes interior fittings and maintenance work

German yard Lloyd Werft has started the extensive rebuilding and modernisation of the 1,070-passenger cruise ship Crystal Serenity.

Both the ship and the yard belong to Malaysia’s Genting group and Lloyd Werft had been tipped to win the order (New Ships 26/2018). The Crystal Serenity will remain at the yard until November 6 and will receive work costing several million euros including new cabins.
