During the Navy show in Saint Petersburg a ceremony of Russian flag raising on leading multifunctional BLV01 "Lotsmeister-1" buoy boat took place.
The vessel ordered by the FSUE Rosmorport, projected by Marine Engineering Bureau, was built on the Nizhegorodskiy Teplokhod shipyard.
The buoy boat is meant to install, maintain and uninstall navigational aids on the approaches and in the seaport’s water area. Navigation areas include the Greater Port Saint Petersburg (with Neva estuary parts), seaports of Primorsk, Vysotsk, Vyborg, Ust-Luga. The vessel is also able to set booms during oil spill combat procedures.
