Quantum of the Seas has left building dock

The Quantum of the Seas has now left the covered building block

Initially planned for Saturday August 9th, the undocking had to be rescheduled to Wednesday, August 13th, due to unfavourable weather conditions.
With the ship now berthed at the yard's pier, the remaining works as well as tests and trials will be carried out on board until the ship’s conveyance down the river Ems to the North Sea, which is scheduled for the middle of September.

The 167,800-gt cruise ship Quantum of the Seas, built for US cruise operator Royal Caribbean International, has left Meyer Werft’s covered building dock II.
