The power and automation corporation will supply two Wärtsilä 20DF dual-fuel engines operating mostly on LNG, together with its LNGPac fuel storage and supply system, steerable thrusters, and the Wärtsilä ProTouch control system. The 28m-long tug, with a bollard pull of 50 tonnes, is due for delivery in mid-2019 when it will start working in the port of Singapore.

Singapore’s PSA Marine (Pte) Ltd has chosen Wärtsilä to design and supply a fuel and propulsion system for its first LNG-powered harbour tug, to be built by PaxOcean Shipyard.
