The tugboat with a towing capacity of 83 ton of the 'Rotortug' principle, patented by Kooren Shipbuilding & Trading BV (three propulsion units and three main engines) is currently the strongest port tug in the Dutch waters, as Kotug states.
"RT Margo" is part of an extensive newbuilding programme of powerful and manoeuvrable 'Rotor' tugs, which are being built at shipyards in Japan and Singapore. In the coming years KOTUG will renew and expand its fleet with these 'state of the art' units.
