Next Generation Shipyards in the Netherlands has an order to build two offshore service vessels (OSV), a monomaran crewtender, for Dutch maritime service provider CoastWise. The contract includes two options for repeat vessels. The new 27m-long type of offshore vessel will accommodate up to 30 personnel. The energy-efficient craft made of aluminium aims to combine the stability of a catamaran to the speed and fuel efficiency of a single-hulled vessel. Classification is taken over by Bureau Veritas.

The first vessel, to be called COS Master, is scheduled to be delivered December 2021. The commercial management of COS Master will be taken over by SeaZip Offshore Service.
