The orders involve a repeat of a recently delivered 8,400cu.m dual-fuel trailing suction hopper dredger (TSHD) with liquefied natural gas (LNG) propulsion. One other 2,300cu.m TSHD has also been ordered along with two 3,500cu.m split barges. The compact design of the 2,300cu.m TSHD is characterised by a small draft and the vessels can be deployed for projects in shallow water worldwide. The two split barges are based on the IHC standard split trail 3,500 design.
