New order for Chantiers de l’Atlantique

It will be the fifth ship in the series and is for delivery in autumn 2024. The new order depends upon financing being agreed. The vessel will measure 327m overall length, 39m moulded breadth and will have a design draught of 8.2m. After the four Millenium-class cruise ships which were ordered following the year 2000 and the four Edge-class ships, this is the ninth ship ordered by Celebrity Cruises, part of Royal Caribbean Cruises, at the French yard. Three other Edge-class ships ordered earlier are scheduled for delivery in 2020, 2021 and 2022.
