New "hybrid" waterjet optimised for high speed

The MJP Hybrid waterjet

Optimised for high-speed applications and featuring a superior and well-proven pump unit, the MJP Hybrid waterjet is "a unique combination of high performance and competitive pricing".
MJP said the idea for the "hybrid" had come soon after the company's acquisition of the UK- and US-based waterjet specialist Ultra Dynamics, maker of the waterjet brand UltraJet, in 2012. With the new waterjet, MJP said it now offered the market a complete product range.
The concept originated with what MJP said it believed was the best duplex stainless steel jet pump on the market, having consistently shown superior wear strengths and performance. Then the company added mixed-flow technology with minimum tip clearance and inboard hydraulics mounted in an aluminium frame, resulting in "an attractive package suitable for all high-speed applications".

Marine Jet Power (MJP) has introduced what it calls the MJP Hybrid waterjet, which the Swedish company says combines the very best characteristics of the MJP DRB series with the MJP Ultrajet series.
