Naming of "Pacific Champion"

"Pacific Champion" is a new UT786 Clean Design Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessel. The vessel is also built to Ice C Class and Comfort (V3) notations and is equipped with a 400-tonne line pull winch. Enhanced with Fi-Fi II (Fire-fighting), DP2 (Dynamic Positioning), and Oil Recovery capabilities, the powerful, high-specification new building is suitable for a variety of offshore tasks, particularly in deepwater and harsh environments and capable of towing the largest vessels in the world.

The vessel complements Hong Kong based Swire Pacific Offshore's existing fleet of 75 vessels to provide offshore support to oil and gas companies globally.
