Mobile automation concept introduced

The Finnish welding solutions provider, Kemppi Oy, and the Danish supplier of innovative automation solutions, Inrotech, have joined forces to improve welding efficiency at shipyards. This co-operation has resulted in a new welding automation system that allows the use of robotic welding also in confined ship block manufacturing environment.

Kemppi and Inrotech have launched their innovative new solution, the Mobile Automatic Arc. Mobile Automatic Arc is an integrated solution consisting of Inrotech’s mobile shipyard robot equipped with Kemppi’s flexible arc welding solution. This new concept is specially designed to be used and operated inside the structures where lack of space has previously prevented the use of an automated welding solution.
