Meyer Turku delivers Mein Schiff 6

TUI Cruises has taken delivery of Mein Schiff 6 from Meyer Turku a few days ahead of schedule.

The 99,800gt cruise vessel is the fourth in a series of vessels on order at the Finnish shipyard for the German cruise operator. With a length of 295m, beam of 36m and draught of 8m, the 15-deck Mein Schiff 6 has capacity for 2,794 passengers in 1,267 cabins, 82% of which have balconies. There are 13 restaurants and bistros, and 13 bars and lounges.
The vessel, due to be named on June 1st in Hamburg, will initially embark on a series of cruises in northern Europe and the Baltic before sailing for New York in August, and the Caribbean and Central America in November.
