Megayacht Elandess launched at Abeking & Rasmussen shipyard

The 74m-long mega-yacht Elandess will be delivered in summer

The 74m-long vessel was pulled out of the shipyard’s undercover construction hall by several tow tractors before being lowered into the water for the first time.
The Elandess is the second vessel built by Abeking & Rasmussen for the same owner, but it is the first time that the German yacht builder has worked closely with London-based design house Harrison Eidsgaard. “Peter Eidsgaard and his talented team have created a uniquely distinctive vessel brimming with innovative design characteristics and inspired aesthetics,” said the yacht builder in a statement. The owner’s team, meanwhile, was led by the new construction division of yacht service company, Burgess.
Sea trials will take place shortly on the River Weser and along the North Sea coast.

Germany’s Lemwerder-based ship and yacht builder Abeking & Rasmussen has launched the 2,065gt mega-yacht Elandess which, following outfitting and sea trials, will be delivered to its owners in the summer.
