Major contract with Austal

The work for Austal, one of the world’s largest builder of fast ferries and a supplier of elite patrol vessels, is for the company’s US operation, which is based at their shipyard in Mobile, Alabama.
Delivery is scheduled to commence in December 2010 and will continue every three months until completion in December 2012. Products were ordered for ten vessels, there is, however, an option for up to ten more.
This contract continues Alu Design’s relationship with Austal, which began with an order for pilot chairs and deck rail for a fast ferry for which delivery is scheduled this month to Australia.
