LNG-powered ferry delivered to Norled

Ryfylke is the first of two ferries for Norled

The 3,999-dwt vessel Ryfylke has a lenght of 123.11m and a width of 18.14m.  It has capacity for 550 passengers and 165 cars. Designed in cooperation of LMG Marin and Remontowa Marine Design&Consulting and built under supervision of the classification society DNV, the LNG-powered vessel will be operated in local Norwegian services. The newbuilding is followed by a second ferry currently under the final outfitting phase. Upon delivery, the two large newbuildings are to replace three smaller ferries.

The first of two double-ended car/passenger ferries built for Norway-based Norled was recently delivered by Polish shipyard Remontowa Shipbuilding.
