Large orders for emissions monitoring system

According to the company, the orders include one of the biggest and most comprehensive emissions monitoring system to measure SOx, NOx, CO2, CH4 (methane), NO2 (nitrogen dioxide), THC (total hydro carbon content), H2S (hydrogen sulphide), benzene and N20 (nitrous oxide).
According to Martek Marine, the system is simple, quick and provokes low costs because all engines are monitored via a single sample line without the need to install a complex dilution arrangement requiring dry air supplies at each engine.
The MariNOx Evolution™ is designed to comply with the MEPC 177(58) NOx Technical Code 2008, as well as Marpol Annex VI and MEPC 103(49).

UK-based maritime equipment manufacturer Martek Marine, Rotherham, announced a series of orders for its MariNOx Evolution™ onboard emissions monitoring and engine efficiency system from Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering and Hyundai Heavy Industries.
