This deployment will provide nine STX shipyards with a system for integrated Hull and outfitting design, as the contractor for engineering design and information management solutions states.
STX OSV AS, together with its subsidiaries, is specialised in designing and building of offshore and specialised vessels used in the offshore oil and gas exploration and production and oil services industries. STX OSV operates shipbuilding facilities in Norway (five), in Romania (two), in Brazil one in Vietnam (one each).
STX has already begun the first project using AVEVA Marine with the design of a Platform Supply Vessel and two sister ships.
