Increasing energy efficiency through cooperation

The project, which is called Energy Efficient Offshore Partners, aims to identify and implement best practice solutions with regards to energy efficiency, acknowledging that the synergies between energy efficiency and environmental impact will be a competitive advantage for the partners. Focused on the creation of a common platform to improve the industry standard for fuel consumption and emission from offshore supply vessels, the partnership aims to keep a leading position at the forefront of energy efficient offshore operations.
Companies that are involved in the initiative are BOA Offshore, Eidesvik Offshore, Farstad Shipping, Gulf Offshore Norge, Havila Shipping, Siem Offshore and Solstad Offshore, as well as the classification society Det Norske Veritas (DNV).
