Hamburg-based Louis Meyer orders Damen ASD Tug 2411

Customer is German towage company Neue Schleppdampfschiffsreederei Louis Meyer. The ASD Tug 2411, to be named Jan, was built for stock at Damen Shipyards Changde in China before being transported to the Netherlands. It will now undergo finishing at Damen Maaskant Shipyards Stellendam and be delivered to new owner in June 2019. The tug will operate primarily in the port of Hamburg, as well as other German harbours as required.
