The contract is valued at more than NOK 80 million. In the autumn of 2014, Grupo CBO had ordered four such Havyard designs.
According to Havyard, the "perfectly adapted design" will result in greatly reduced construction costs compared with recent deliveries from Brazilian shipyards.
"We have created a utility vessel, a real workhorse carefully adapted to the needs of solving most tasks and operations," remarked Kjell Peder Overvåg, Havyard's general manager for South America.
The six CBO vessels are to perform duties for the Brazilian oil company Petrobas. Havyard says the first will be launched early next year.

Havyard Design & Solutions, part of the Norwegian shipbuilder Havyard Group, says the Brazilian shipping company and shipyard group Grupo CBO has ordered the Havyard 843 design for two more anchor-handling vessels.
