Goltens Worldwide and IPCO Power have signed a strategic collaboration agreement to help shipowners improve fuel efficiency and sustainability through a fully integrated service offering.
The partnership combines IPCO Power’s fuel homogenisation technology with Goltens’ global engineering and service expertise – covering everything from 3D scanning and technical design to installation, commissioning, and long-term lifecycle support, the companies said in a statement.
“Clients are increasingly asking for complete solutions rather than just equipment,” said Bart Sluimer, Managing Director of IPCO Power. “Through our partnership with Goltens, we can now deliver full-scope projects worldwide – from technical design to commissioning – that completely unburden the customer.”
At the heart of IPCO’s technology is a robust rotor–stator homogeniser that reduces fuel droplet size to below three microns, enhancing combustion and enabling up to 80% sludge reduction, 2.5% fuel savings, and improved fuel stability. The system also supports onboard blending of different fuel types, including biofuels, and water-in-fuel emulsification for emission reduction.
Goltens CEO Sandeep Seth said the collaboration reinforces the company’s commitment to helping shipowners meet efficiency and decarbonisation goals: “By combining IPCO’s proven homogenisation technology with Goltens’ global execution capabilities, we are providing scalable solutions that lower costs, improve fuel flexibility, and support the transition to cleaner operations.”
