FSG launches offshore seismic vessel

The two vessels will be 127m long and thus be the largest vessels in WesternGeco’s fleet.
They are said to satisfy the most stringent demands in regards to efficiency, comfort, reliability and endurance and guarantee safe operation throughout the world, including arctic conditions. Each ship is equipped with 76 single cabins, rooms for leisure and communal activities and a computer centre. For seismic operations, different types of cable streamers are used to measure seabed data.
