Delivery of the ships is scheduled for 2017. The internally named SRB 66, SRB 67 and SRB 68 will replace the 8.5m class built in the 1990s. The vessels will be modified sister vessels of the twenty 9.5/10.1m-class units operated by DGzRS. Constructed to cope with extreme conditions they are designed to be self righting. Speed will be 18 knots.

German Maritime Search and Rescue Association (DGzRS) has placed an order for three 10.1m-long rescue vessels with Berne-based shipyard Fassmer.
