Danish offshore wind vessel operator, Esvagt, has signed a NOK 21 million contract for three more integrated automation, power management, navigation and communication systems with Norwegian Electric Systems (NES). The deal, which comes as part of the Norwegian company’s Concept Bridge, brings to ten the number of such systems Esvagt has now bought from NES.

The latest units will be installed on three service operation vessels of Havyard 831L SOV design which are to be built by Havyard Ship Technology in Leirvik, Norway. There is also an option for the supply of a complete tank gauging system, with sensors for tank sounding, to be integrated into the automation system.

The first equipment package with engineering services is due for delivery in March 2020.
