Environmentally friendly LNG-powered offshore vessel

The newbuilding is named ”Viking Prince” and has an overall length of 90m, a breadth of 21m and a deck space of 1,050m². The vessel´s deadweight is about 6,500 tonnes. According to Kleven Maritime, four LNG dual-fuel engines ensure low NOx emissions (85% reduction) and reduce CO₂ emissions by up to 25%. 
Eidesvik Offshore concluded an agreement with Lundin Norway for chartering the newbuilding. The sister vessel of the “Viking Prince” is also to be delivered from Kleven Maritime in September this year.
