Delivery of the world’s biggest ConRo vessel

Jolly Cobalto was built at STX Offshore & Shipbuilding in South Korea

Built by the STX Offshore & Shipbuilding shipyard in Jinhae, South Korea, the new vessel is said to be the world’s biggest ConRo vessel to date. With a length of 240m, beam of 37.5m and draught of 11.5m, Jolly Cobalto has capacity for 3,900 TEU and 6,350m for RoRo cargo. It is equipped with an innovative gas cleaning system able to operate both in navigation and in port.
Jolly Cobalto and its sister vessels Jolly Titanio, Jolly Vanadio and Jolly Palladio are part of the second stage of a major USD 500 million development plan that the Genoa-based shipping company is currently undertaking.

The ConRo vessel Jolly Cobalto was recently delivered to the Italian shipping company Ignazio Messina & C.
