Delivery of new flagship

"Marina"

Oceania Cruises, part of Prestige Cruise Holdings, officially took delivery of "Marina", the line’s first newly built ship.

The handover of the 66,000 gt vessel took place at Fincantieri's Sestri Ponente shipyard near Genoaand accommodates 1,250 guests. Her sister ship "Riviera" is currently being built in the same shipyard and will debut in April 2012.

"Marina", with a length of 210 m and a breadth of 32.2 m, can accomodate 1,250 passengers in 629 cabins. Size of the crew amounts to 800. 

The new flagship of the Oceania Cruises fleet set sail on her maiden voyage from Barcelona, Spain. After arrival in Miami the vessel will be christened and set sail to visits to North American west coast ports before sailing along the U.S. Eastern Seaboard and on to Europe to begin her inaugural Mediterranean season.
